About me
I am currently doing PhD thesis under the supervision of Jakub Zakrzewski and Dominique Delande under a cotutelle program. During Winter I stay in Kraków where I work in Atomic Optics Department in the theoretical group, in Summer I am localized in Paris, in Laboratoire Kastler Brossel in Quantum Complex Systemes group at Jussieu site.
In my studies I focus on disordered quantum systems, i.e. Anderson localization, inclusion of interactions to disordered systems, and the topic of many-body localization. Most of my work is connected with dynamics of such systems, both numerically and analytically. During my thesis I study various disordered driven phenomena, eg. quantum boomerang effect in different setups. As a curious theoretician I am also interested in other complex systems like financial markets. Apart from physics I'm a musician (formely playing on accordion, now practising mainly piano) and music in also in scope of my interests, especially the 20th century.
During my bachelor/masters studies I was involved in Mathematics and Natural Sciences Students Association (pol. Koło Matematyczno-Przyrodnicze Studentów UJ ) where I was a president during my 4th year. Due to this fact there is a non-zero probability of measuring me there on weekdays drinking coffee or at events organized by the association.
